Alright, I’m just going to get out there and admit it: 2020 was an incredible year for our business. In every challenge there is opportunity, and 2020 proved what we’ve already known: B2B marketers have needed to shift to a digital-only mindset, and advertising platforms have needed to truly address the challenges that B2B Marketers face.
This has always been the inspiration behind Influ2. As advertising nerds, we were tired of seeing marketers send broad, irrelevant blanket ads to the wrong targets. This approach wasn’t adding clear value for B2B Marketers so we challenged ourselves to create and improve the approach. We developed a person-based advertising platform.
The platform empowers marketers to reach actual decision-makers, track their response and get relevant content in front of them when they’re open and ready to receive it. Everything is tailored to the person, allowing a natural ad experience that is better for everyone.
When traditional marketing strategies became suddenly and unexpectedly unavailable in 2020's virtual world, B2B Marketers saw new avenues of opportunity in focusing on digital. Since then, B2B Marketers have embraced new strategies and we’ve been there to help them thrive (or continue to drive sales) at every stage.
That’s why we’re so proud to announce that we’ve experienced 251% growth and have won new clients including Cato Networks, Hexaware and NVIDIA. Additionally, we've expanded into new verticals such as Healthcare and Financial Services.
We have big news to share! Today we announced closing our first round of seed funding, which was led by Boston fund One Way Ventures and Athens-based VentureFriends, as well as notable investors like super angel Murat Abdurakhamanov and Peter Harrison, former CEO of GlobalLogic. This round of funding fuels our continued growth, and allows us to expand our functionalities and bring in senior sales hires. We are so excited to expand our global team.
This is an important moment for us and the industry, and we continue to be here for our existing and future clients.
I want to thank my team for a great year amidst life's most unpredictable moments. Follow our journey as we share our annual recap and build out the future of Account-Based Marketing.
